Dr. Gloria Wu interviews Hossein Moein Taghavi who came to America as a  high school freshman from Iran. He attended Aragon High School in San  Mateo, California, a city in Northern California. It was during his  freshman year in high school, he learned English and excelled in STEM  subjects. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of  California, Berkeley with highest honors and now works at Stanford  University School of Medicine, Department of Radiology.  He is applying  to medical school.
